After Christine was released from hospital at the end of February 1985, she and Seiichi jumped on a night express to Venice. They stayed for three days, wandering aimlessly around the island. Furuya shot two rolls of transparencies while they were there, but he accidentally used one of them again, resulting in it having images of East Berlin superimposed upon it. In 2002, he self-published 529 copies of these pictures in book form in tribute to Christine on her birthday. In the same year he held an exhibition of this work under the same title at Shinjuku Nikon Salon, Tokyo, for which he received the 27th Ina Nobuo Award.
